Volunteer Program
Community Health Education Program

Since 2008, the Hong Kong Society of Professional Nursing has launched the Community Health Education Program to promote public health and community wellness. To encourage community participation, all health promotion activities are organized in collaboration with government departments, community organizations, resident groups, and schools. The aim is to raise public awareness of health knowledge and disease prevention, and to encourage the practice of a healthy lifestyle.

Volunteer Requirements

1. 18 years old or above

2. Fluent in Cantonese

3. Completed the volunteer training course for the Community Health Education Program

Service Scope

Assist the department in promoting community health and safety education

1. Community Health Ambassador: Services include health checks, health promotion days, health talks, and other activities

2. Community First Aid Ambassador: Assist in providing home first aid training for the elderly and participate in safety promotion
