香港專業護理學會，成立於2004年, 是一所非牟利學術性的專業志願慈善機構，並以專業態度提升社會上不同階層人士的健康護理知識；同時我們非常關注醫護服務水平，並開拓多元化的專業培訓課程以提升醫護人員的服務質素。亦為中學畢業生提供以實踐為本、並能於公私營醫院及老人院舍就業的各項優質課程。

本會提醒市民提高警覺，近期接獲多宗來自香港市民、學生及業界持份者的投訴，指某些機構在香港開辦抽血及靜脈注射課程。據報，該課程涉及真實抽血及靜脈注射操作，並提供誤導性的心電圖（ECG）教學內容，而課程負責人並非註冊醫療專業人士（如醫務化驗師、註冊護士或醫生），亦無正式醫療學術背景。

我們鄭重提醒，由於上述課程負責人並非醫療專業人士，亦沒有相關註冊資格及學術學歷，該課程所頒發的學歷或證書將不被受業界認可。

Public Notice: Warning Against Participating in Medical Training Courses Led by Non-Medical Professionals

Our Society reminds the public to remain vigilant. Recently, we have received numerous complaints from Hong Kong citizens, students, and industry stakeholders regarding some organizations offering phlebotomy and intravenous cannulation courses in Hong Kong. It has been reported that these courses involve real blood taking and intravenous procedures, and provide misleading instruction on electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation. However, the course leader is not a registered medical professional (such as a medical technologist, registered nurse, or doctor) and does not have a formal medical academic background.

We solemnly remind the public that since the course leader is not a medical professional and lacks the relevant registration and academic qualifications, any qualifications or certificates issued by the course will not be recognized by the industry.

To ensure your personal safety and the effectiveness of your learning, please make sure to choose medical training that is led and supervised by qualified and registered healthcare professionals to protect yourself and others.
